Service is super fast. The food is amazing. The packaging is of the Royal kind. Reminded me of the Indian sweet boxes, looked very royal. The the food bag, omg, so cute. Cheap affordable food with the highest quality. Definitely not to miss. I guess travellers buy from places like this and that's theor meal for the train journey.

A genuinely tasty and busy joint located at 2F ATSY @ Kyoto. There are always a queue and barriers especially at peak hours, but they usually move fast 15-30mins. Price are affordable for quantity and quality of food, hence the queues in first place. Items are fresh and hot, and packaged nicely for consumption at home/office. Recipes are authentic, natural and great tasting, even without reheat. Great value (eg JPY1100 for 20pcs shrimp dumpling siew mai) and immensely satisfying.

Perfect for your Shinkansen ride! They are packed into perfect lil compact boxes for your convenience. There was no queue when I was there at 11am on a Saturday, the total time it took to get a box of soumai and gyoza was under 90 seconds. Costed me ¥1020. I was on my train by 11.05 and train left on the dot at 11.08am. They’re not the best gyoza or siumai you’ll ever have, both are on the saltier side but they’re perfect for the Shinkansen/ snack at your hotel. 10/10 recommend. Will try the steamed buns and rice triangle dumplings next time.

Favorite pork buns :) The best filling food for my train rides! I should definitely try the other menu items, but the usual always fulfills exactly what I’m looking for

People says that there is a long line but when we went at 1:00 is was not full. We only had to wait 3 minutes to get a table. Food was delicious. We ordered the bao and gyoza

This place is a chain snack restro very good for meat buns and also siu mai We ordered the meat bun and 6 siu mai they were fresh and hot and very tasty They have this 551 horai at quite a few locations and I heard it’s originating from Osaka Very good and definitely recommended

The always long queue Chinese bun and siomai dumplings store at the Kyoto Station. Only for takeaway. Taste wise, not bad. Considerable size of pork fillings compared to ordinary Hong Kong dimsum restaurant. Fair enough for the price point.
